The Art of Survival

Our team will be hosting an art show and online auction to raise funds.  We are now looking for artists who would like to donate a piece of their work to a great cause.  All proceeds will be donated to our Relay For Life team benefiting the Canadian Cancer Society!

We are looking for paintings, framed drawings, photography, sculpture, stitch-work, hand-made items, and more!  We will be collecting pieces until April 15, 2011 and the show and auction will be held some time in May.

Our website is now live!  Please visit us at www.artofsurvival.ca

Who Are These Guys, Anyway?

The Canadian Cancer Society Relay for Life fundraising group 'The Cure-ators' was started by Craig Schriver and Keith Fukumoto, two guys with little brains and big hearts.  They are both animation artists working and living in Toronto, Ontario.

Craig enjoys running, biking and hitting softballs out of the recreational ballpark.  He's also a woodworking hobbyist.

Keith spends his free time snowboarding and jumping out of airplanes.  When he's not defying gravity he enjoys flying his model plane.

These two boneheads are planning to cycle from Toronto to Niagara Falls this summer as part of their fundraising effort.  Craig plans on participating in a couple of 10k runs this year, and Keith will skydive in the name of cancer awareness.

Keep checking the blog for our progress.  If you're entertained, why not donate a couple bucks to a great cause?
